Juniors at Sutton
On Wednesday evening, the York Cornerstone Juniors knocked off Sutton by the score of 5-2 to raise their record to 6-5 on the season. York’s McCauley Jordan went the distance on the mound and allowed no earned runs while throwing just 89 pitches.
Austin Stuhr knocked in two runs with a single and Haden Doht led the Juniors with two hits.
Jeremy Swanson sparked a two run sixth inning with a leadoff pinch hit single. The defensive star of the game went to Mason Wright who had a sparkling night at shortstop.
The Juniors are back in action Sunday when they travel to Utica seeking their seventh win against the Utica-Beaver Crossing Badgers.
