Juniors at Sutton

On Wednesday evening, the York Cornerstone Juniors knocked off Sutton by the score of 5-2 to raise their record to 6-5 on the season.  York’s McCauley Jordan went the distance on the mound and allowed no earned runs while throwing just 89 pitches.

Austin Stuhr knocked in two runs with a single and Haden Doht led the Juniors with two hits.

Jeremy Swanson sparked a two run sixth inning with a leadoff pinch hit single.  The defensive star of the game went to Mason Wright who had a sparkling night at shortstop.

The Juniors are back in action Sunday when they travel to Utica seeking their seventh win against the Utica-Beaver Crossing Badgers.
